Angela, Marc and our assistant wardens welcome you to Somers Wood Caravan Park, we hope you will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay with us.
We try very hard to keep our park and facilities in the best possible condition for your comfort and the comfort of all our guests. To do this we ask for your help in observing a few guidelines which will benefit everyone.
Wherever possible, please park your vehicles on the hardstanding area of your pitch, do not drive on the grass verges. Please observe our 5mph speed limit and our one-way system as indicated on your site plan.
THE LIGHTS IN THE SHOWER/TOILET BLOCK WILL COME ON AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED – TIMED TO STAY ON FOR 30 MINUTES – REACTIVATED BY OPENING/CLOSING MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR ONLY.
You can exercise your dog(s) in the adjacent lane as indicated on your site plan. Please pick up after your dog whilst on the caravan park and always keep your dog on a short lead whilst on the park and also around your unit. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME IN YOUR CARAVAN, MOTORHOME OR AWNING! No dog runs to be erected on your pitch… i.e. by means of joined up windbreaks etc...
PREFERABLY NO GROUNDSHEET - ECO GROUNDSHEETS FOR SHORT STAYS ONLY.
No washing lines to be tied to the trees/No Gazebos/No Camp Fires/If using a disposable barbecue please elevate it off the ground as scorching of the grass is unacceptable.
No electric fires to be used in awnings.
QUIET TIME PLEASE BETWEEN 10.30PM AND 8AM.
Please register your visitors at reception (must be 18 years and over – no children) - a small donation to the wild bird feeding fund, which we do all year round, will be expected!! Thank-you.
Somers Wood Caravan Park accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any persons/visitors or their property whilst staying on or visiting the park.
